For my action activity, I decided to learn tennis from a private coach and so that I can play a friendly match with some of my classmates who play tennis. Fortunately, one of my friend had introduced me his coach with a reasonable lesson fee. My final goal for this activity is to participate in a tennis tournament.
This activity is certainly out of school. Once a week, one to one lesson with my coach, who was once a professional tennis player and now working as a coach. I had experience in tennis when i was young, but it made no difference; I couldn't hit the ball properly for the first few weeks. At first the ball rarely landed inside the court, but as time flew, i got the hang of it and started stroking balls back with a top-spin. I thought of quitting at first but as i got better at it, the activity provided me with a lot of joy. The difficulty was solved by the satisfaction of getting better lesson per lesson. I also played with my friends after school in a court nearby school and improved my skills there too.
This activity impacted me in a positive way. I gained skills of tennis through a lot of failures, losing number of balls by hitting it over the fence. Although it had certain difficulties such as the coach is late, frequently absent, i had to balance between my studies and sports, this activity was sensational to me. Unlike when i was young, i am now more aware of things and i noticed that tennis is fun when you put 100% effort in it. I would like to continue this even after CAS is all done. This activity will sure be useful in the future as the population of this sports worldwide is enormous, it is a sport that i can play in almost wherever i am. As an example, i was surprised that almost half of my classmates had experience in playing tennis
